Egypt was a region and later a country in northeastern Africa. It shared a common border with Libya, its western neighbor.
The Brown family visited ancient Egypt and were chased out after Verne Brown pulled a prank on the Sphinx at Giza. Angry Egyptians damaged the flux capacitor on the Jules Verne Train, sending them to 1692 Salem, Massachusetts.
The Browns also visited Egypt again briefly while chasing in the time train after Walter Wisdom, who had stolen the DeLorean time machine to travel into the 2nd century, A.D.
In 1959, a headline titled "Nasser Accuses Reds of Plotting Overthrow" was on a newspaper that also contained a story on Biff Tannen's horse race winning. Nasser was the President of Egypt at the time.[1]
