"That's right, you keep runnin', sucka!!! And you tell that realty company that I ain't sellin', you hear?! We ain't gonna be terrorized!"
—Lewis to Marty

An African-American family lived in the house that had been the McFly house in 1985. After Biff Tannen altered the past creating 1985A, the McFlys had either moved from, or had never lived in, the house. The family that lived there in 1985A had previously been pressured about selling their home, apparently on threat of violence, and was prepared for a home invasion.

Lewis was the head of household, with a wife, and two children, a son Harold, and a daughter Loretta.

Marty admits he is in the wrong house.

On October 26, Lewis woke up to the screams of his daughter Loretta as Marty McFly stumbled into what had been his bedroom in 1985. Lewis, dressed in sleepwear and wielding a baseball bat, stormed into the bedroom and swung violently at Marty, destroying several items on the dresser and throughout the room. Marty, familiar with the layout of the house, made his way through the hallways and escaped out the front door.

After Marty ran out, Lewis's wife suggested that they place bars on all the windows to which Lewis protested as he didn't want his family living in a jail.

[edit] Behind the scenes

Lewis was portrayed by character actor Al White, who is frequently cast as a police detective on television and in film, and his wife was Junior Fann. Nikki Birdsong appeared as Loretta, and Shaun Hunter as Harold.
